I had the immense joy of working with the famous world-renowned sculptor Jay Brabant in 2010, in British Columbia.
I would paint his wooden sculptures, with acrylic paints, following the strict symbols of North West Aboriginal Tribes designed by Jay.
During this time, I worked on a couple of pieces that I am going to describe below.
One morning, Jay and I took the truck and grabbed this big bad boy, a resin bear, to paint it with original Northwest symbols for a shop.
On the left: the bear in progress & yours truly.
This piece, a frog, was commissioned by a private collector.
Once again, I painted Jay Brabant symbols on the entire sculpture, made of two separate blocks (the head and the body).

I was very lucky to be able to work with Jay during these 6 months in the beautiful natural landscapes of British Columbia.
I took an immense number of photographs that I still use as references today for my landscape paintings.
